About me

About me

Hello, my name is Victoria Bennett I have worked as a counsellor for over 10 years. I follow a holistic approach and have gained comprehensive experience working with people of different backgrounds and a wide age range from (6 years old and beyond).

My Counselling experience span over 10 years this includes working as a counsellor for a children’s charity. Post the pandemic in 2023 during the summer I worked as an adolescent counsellor with ‘The Nutstart Project’ (interviewing children and young people who attend youth centres in Haringey). The aim was to document their experiences and challenges they faced during the pandemic, as well as provide emotional support for them. A documentary about the work with The Nutstart Project will be aired on the Haringey website later this year 2024.

My practice philosophy is mainly person-centred, as I believe this to be highly effective in enabling clients to develop and exercise their own independence and decision-making. Depending on the circumstances, and where appropriate, I will integrate person-centred therapy with behavioural therapy and solution focused therapy and Reiki healing.
